  • The VASYLI + McPoil tissue stress relief prefabricated foot orthotic is the result of a collaboration between Phillip Vasyli and Prof. Thomas G. McPoil, PhD, PT, ATC.
  • In 1995, together with Gary Hunt, Tom introduced the concept of load deformation curve, which became the basis of a tissue stress model.
  • The VASYLI + McPoil orthotic is based on a dual-density construction designed to allow for normal foot pronation but to prevent over pronation.
  • Ideal for conditions of hypermobility or Achilles stress resulting from traumatic supination (sports injuries), the VASYLI + McPoil provides relief and enhances recovery.
  • Tom has utilized this construction during decades of practice, treating a wide range of lower-limb biomechanical disorders in both athletes and non-athletes.
