Description
The Healthy You Gait / Transfer Belt gives caregivers a secure hold at the patient's waist during standing, pivoting, walking and bed-to-chair transfers — instead of pulling on an arm or under the shoulders. A staple of PT clinics, skilled nursing floors, home-health routes and nursing-school skills labs.

Choosing a length
60" fits most adult waists. 72" is the extra-long option for bariatric patients, thicker clothing, or wear over a gown. Measure the patient's waist and add roughly 12" of buckle slack.
Choosing a buckle
The plastic quick-release buckle is faster to fasten and release one-handed, which most caregivers prefer for repeated daily transfers. The nickel metal buckle is the traditional clinical style and adjusts to any length without preset holes.
For clinics and programs
Assigning one belt per patient and laundering on a rotation is how most infection-control policies want gait belts handled. Contact us for case quantities and program pricing for PT/OT clinics, nursing schools and home-health agencies.
